Dans un contexte \u00e9conomique tendu et un march\u00e9 premium en repli, la 750S d\u00e9fend une vision radicale de la performance, centr\u00e9e sur le V8 et l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie all\u00e9g\u00e9e. L\u00e0 o\u00f9 Ferrari et Lamborghini misent sur l\u2019hybridation, McLaren choisit la fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 au thermique, au moins jusqu\u2019en 2026. Mais cette strat\u00e9gie thermique haut de gamme peut-elle perdurer face aux choix technologiques de ses rivaux ? Forbes Belgique d\u00e9crypte.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le march\u00e9 mondial des supercars et voitures de luxe vit une mutation acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9e. Estim\u00e9 \u00e0 plus de 1 000 milliards de dollars d\u2019ici 2032, il affiche un taux de croissance solide, mais les disparit\u00e9s entre marques se creusent. Ferrari continue de dominer gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des marges sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 30%, quand Porsche et Aston Martin font face \u00e0 des r\u00e9organisations co\u00fbteuses.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;\u00e9lectrification bouleverse les rep\u00e8res. Les mod\u00e8les hybrides et \u00e9lectriques progressent fortement, avec Porsche en t\u00eate gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 une \u00e9lectrification d\u00e9j\u00e0 majoritaire en Europe. Ferrari et Lamborghini adoptent aussi des technologies hybrides, par \u00e9tapes. Le march\u00e9 des supercars 100% \u00e9lectriques, encore \u00e9mergent, devrait conna\u00eetre un boom dans les prochaines ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Dans ce paysage en mouvement, McLaren reste volontairement \u00e0 contre-courant : la 750S ne c\u00e8de rien \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9lectrique.<\/p>\n<h2>Chant du cygne pour le moteur thermique ?<\/h2>\n<p>D\u00e9voil\u00e9e en 2023, la McLaren 750S reprend la base technique de la 720S, mais l\u2019am\u00e8ne \u00e0 de nouvelles extr\u00e9mit\u00e9s. Sous son capot arri\u00e8re, on retrouve le moteur V8 biturbo de 4,0 litres, port\u00e9 \u00e0 750 chevaux et 800 Nm de couple. Le poids \u00e0 sec descend \u00e0 1 277 kg (1 326 kg pour la version Spider), offrant un ratio poids\/puissance de 587 ch\/tonne. C\u2019est un condens\u00e9 de technologie sans assistance \u00e9lectrique.<\/p>\n<p>C\u00f4t\u00e9 habitacle, McLaren conserve sa philosophie minimaliste, agr\u00e9ment\u00e9e de touches modernes comme l\u2019\u00e9cran tactile 8 pouces, Apple CarPlay, ou encore un syst\u00e8me audio Bowers &amp; Wilkins. Le tout dans un environnement ax\u00e9 sur le pilote.<\/p>\n<h2>Nouvelle strat\u00e9gie, nouveaux \u00e9quilibres<\/h2>\n<p>Cette 750S marque un tournant, pas seulement technique, mais strat\u00e9gique. En 2024, McLaren a connu une profonde restructuration : CYVN Holdings (Abu Dhabi) a rachet\u00e9 l\u2019int\u00e9gralit\u00e9 de l\u2019entreprise, valorisant le groupe \u00e0 plusieurs milliards. Par ailleurs, un partenariat technologique a \u00e9t\u00e9 nou\u00e9 avec Forseven pour acc\u00e9l\u00e9rer le d\u00e9veloppement de futurs mod\u00e8les \u00e9lectrifi\u00e9s. La 750S, en ce sens, n\u2019est pas un point final mais un jalon strat\u00e9gique.<\/p>\n<h2>En Belgique, un marque discr\u00e8te<\/h2>\n<p>En Belgique, McLaren reste un acteur ultra-confidentiel. En 2025, seules 24 unit\u00e9s devraient \u00eatre vendues sur l\u2019ensemble du territoire, avec un prix moyen de 230 000 euros.<\/p>\n<p>McLaren Brussels, unique distributeur officiel pour la Belgique et le Luxembourg, est dirig\u00e9 par Laurent Louyet. Le showroom a \u00e9t\u00e9 relocalis\u00e9 fin 2023 \u00e0 Waterloo dans un espace flambant neuf, int\u00e9grant ventes et service apr\u00e8s-vente. Les immatriculations sont en recul de pr\u00e8s de 10% d\u00e9but 2025, et le segment premium souffre d\u2019une confiance \u00e9conomique en berne. Elle incarne une id\u00e9e du luxe automobile centr\u00e9e sur la performance m\u00e9canique brute, la l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9 et l\u2019exclusivit\u00e9.
