Derri\u00e8re le label, on retrouve le couple d\u2019entrepreneurs Marion Schoutteten et Gauthier Prouvost. Tous les deux avaient un r\u00eave : changer les mentalit\u00e9s en surfant sur le cr\u00e9neau qui ne demandait qu\u2019\u00e0 \u00eatre pris. Celui d\u2019une marque belge, responsable, accessible et tendance.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Une marque 100% europ\u00e9enne<\/h2>\n<p>Pour r\u00e9aliser leur ambition, ils sont parvenus \u00e0 cr\u00e9er deux cha\u00eenes de production 100% europ\u00e9ennes (la viscose en 2022 et le lin en 2024). R\u00e9sultat ? Une collection de fringues dont l\u2019empreinte \u00e9cologique bat tous les scores, au point de devenir la premi\u00e8re marque belge de pr\u00eat-\u00e0-porter \u00e0 \u00eatre certifi\u00e9e <a href=\"https:\/\/bcorporation.fr\/\">BCorp<\/a> en 2023. Aujourd\u2019hui, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.orta-store.com\/fr\/?gad_source=1&amp;gclid=Cj0KCQjwsuSzBhCLARIsAIcdLm4KjuHSBdXQsOz4xfwY2TS4CskTGGa55o_PVATnu1Lv3H6GhAgI1a0aAhhvEALw_wcB\">Orta<\/a> r\u00e9alise une moyenne de 122% de chiffre d\u2019affaires annuel depuis 2017, avec un b\u00e9n\u00e9fice net d\u00e9passant les 100 000 euros. Jusqu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, o\u00f9 la crise \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique a eu raison de leur croissance impressionnante. \u00ab\u00a0Comme dans beaucoup de secteurs, on s\u2019est pris une claque. On est pass\u00e9 de 5 \u00e0 4 millions de CA annuel entre 2022 et 2023\u00a0\u00bb, explique Gauthier Prouvost.<\/p>\n<p>Pour faire face \u00e0 la hausse de prix, les consommateurs ont pour beaucoup renonc\u00e9 aux achats de besoins secondaires. Parall\u00e8lement, la marque est confront\u00e9e \u00e0 la concurrence d&rsquo;une large gamme de marques de mode \u00e0 travers diff\u00e9rents segments. Le march\u00e9 n\u2019\u00e9tant plus porteur, aujourd\u2019hui, pour se faire de la place, il faut prendre des parts de march\u00e9 aux autres. Malgr\u00e9 le contexte \u00e9conomique difficile, le luxe bien positionn\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019international se porte plut\u00f4t bien et affiche des r\u00e9sultats int\u00e9ressants. De nouveaux acteurs, comme la marque chinoise Shein ont surf\u00e9 comme jamais sur le tournant du digital. Reste les marques moyenne gamme qui luttent pour se positionner entre ces deux extr\u00eames. \u00ab\u00a0Fabriquer de l\u2019Europ\u00e9en en baissant les prix pour s\u2019adapter au march\u00e9 \u00e9tait impossible, \u00e0 moins de tricher dans la production, ce qui \u00e9tait impensable pour nous\u00a0\u00bb, explique Gauthier. Le premier : diversifier la marque \u00e0 l\u2019international, en \u00e9tendant leurs magasins physiques aux capitales europ\u00e9ennes et asiatiques. \u00ab\u00a0Nous ouvrirons au Luxembourg en 2024, \u00e0 Gen\u00e8ve d\u00e9but 2025, \u00e0 Paris au deuxi\u00e8me semestre 2025, puis \u00e0 Shanghai fin 2025\u00a0\u00bb. L\u2019objectif ? Viser des villes au pouvoir d\u2019achat nettement sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 la moyenne, et o\u00f9 les consommateurs souffrent moins de l\u2019inflation. Ce qui n\u2019emp\u00eachera pas la marque de conserver sa seule boutique \u00e0 Bruxelles, qui b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie \u00e9galement d\u2019un bon PIB par habitant.<\/p>\n<p>Une question : que vient faire Shanghai dans cet ADN 100% europ\u00e9en ? \u00ab\u00a0Fabriquer un v\u00eatement en Europe repr\u00e9sente 50% de bilan carbone en moins que de le fabriquer en Chine. Le transport ne repr\u00e9sente quant \u00e0 lui que 7 \u00e0 8% de ce bilan carbone. Le calcul est vite fait.\u00a0\u00bb, explique Gauthier. \u00ab\u00a0Sans parler du niveau de corruption entre l\u2019Europe et l\u2019Asie, d\u00e9termin\u00e9 par le World Justice Index\u00a0\u00bb et qui explique en grande partie l\u2019\u00e9cart de pollution industrielle entre l\u2019Europe et l\u2019Asie.<\/p>\n<h2>D\u00e9veloppement d\u2019une collection Premium<\/h2>\n<p>Pour faire face \u00e0 la crise, Orta a \u00e9galement d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de tout miser sur une nouvelle collection Premium. \u00ab\u00a0Nous \u00e9tions dans de l\u2019abordable, mais l\u2019\u00e9quation n\u2019est plus possible avec l\u2019\u00e9nergie europ\u00e9enne qui est la plus on\u00e9reuse au monde. Nous voulons donc continuer \u00e0 miser sur notre excellent rapport qualit\u00e9\/prix, mais en montant en gamme \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb. La faillite de marques historiques telles que Gap, Kooka\u00ef ou Superdry l\u2019a montr\u00e9, le \u00ab\u00a0milieu de gamme\u00a0\u00bb souffre. Orta souhaite donc s\u2019adresser \u00e0 une nouvelle client\u00e8le, avec des v\u00eatements de la m\u00eame qualit\u00e9, mais avec un design et un confort qui changent, des fibres de laine plus fines, et donc plus ch\u00e8res. \u00ab\u00a0\u00c7a donnera un pull 100% laine vierge ou 100% cachemire entre 250 et 500\u20ac plut\u00f4t qu\u2019un m\u00e9lange laine polyamide recycl\u00e9 \u00e0 140\u20ac, par exemple. Le couple est en n\u00e9gociation avec un family office belge et Finance Brussels (fonds d&rsquo;actions publiques), pour un montant \u00e0 hauteur de 700 000\u20ac chacun. Orta a \u00e9galement lanc\u00e9 une campagne de financement participatif en actions sur la plateforme Crowdcube. Cette initiative permet \u00e0 ses 220 000 abonn\u00e9s et \u00e0 toute personne int\u00e9ress\u00e9e de devenir actionnaire de la marque, avec des tickets allants de 150\u20ac \u00e0 25 000\u20ac. \u00c0 quelques jours de la cl\u00f4ture, leur objectif de 800\u202f000\u00a0\u20ac a d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9pass\u00e9. \u00c7a donne une lev\u00e9e de fonds d\u2019un montant total de 1,6 million environ.<\/p>\n<p>Une fa\u00e7on d\u2019ouvrir leur capital tout en gardant intact leur ADN 100% made in Europe.
