De groep heeft namelijk een investering van 100 miljoen euro aangekondigd in <a href=\"https:\/\/startit-x.com\/en\/accelerate\/start-it-kbc\">Start it @KBC<\/a> en <a href=\"https:\/\/startit-x.com\/en\/accelerate\/start-it-cbc\">Start it@CBC<\/a>, om deze twee incubators in staat te stellen hun diensten uit te breiden en jonge ondernemingen te begeleiden van hun eerste idee tot een mogelijke beursgang, een unieke aanbieding op de Belgische markt.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>De investering van 100 miljoen gaat gepaard met de lancering van een nieuw fonds, het &#8220;<strong><em>Start it Fund<\/em><\/strong>&#8220;, gericht op het verstrekken van startkapitaal aan vooraanstaande <strong>start-ups<\/strong> uit het <strong>Start it<\/strong> programma. Deze jonge bedrijven kunnen rekenen op kapitaal en begeleiding om hun groei te versnellen. De beste hiervan zullen bovendien in een later stadium in aanmerking kunnen komen voor aanvullende financiering.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Waar andere accelerators in het begin een klein bedrag onder vaste voorwaarden toekennen, biedt het <strong>Start it Fund<\/strong> slechts een groter bedrag aan de beste 1% tijdens hun traject, afhankelijk van de behoeften en de fase waarin de <strong>start-up<\/strong> zich bevindt. De start-up is volledig vrij om de financiering wel of niet te accepteren. Gemiddeld investeert het fonds 300.000 euro in startende bedrijven, maar dit kan in sommige gevallen meer zijn.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h2>Tot vijf miljoen aanvullende financiering<\/h2>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Naast kapitaal wordt een jaar extra begeleiding binnen <strong>Start it @KBC<\/strong> aangeboden en de beste geselecteerde start-ups krijgen bovendien de mogelijkheid om aanvullende financiering tot vijf miljoen euro te verkrijgen via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kbcsecurities.com\/en.html\">KBC Securities<\/a>.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<figure id=\"attachment_14425\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14425\" style=\"width: 475px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-14425\" src=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.be\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/kbc.avif\" alt=\"\" width=\"475\" height=\"95\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-14425\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u00a9 KBC<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Elk jaar solliciteren ongeveer 1.000 start-ups bij de incubator, en dat aantal stijgt elk jaar. &#8220;<em>Dit stelt ons in staat om steeds selectiever te zijn en de kwaliteit voortdurend te verbeteren<\/em>&#8220;, legt <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/uytterschautlode\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lode Uytterschaut<\/a><\/strong> uit, oprichter en CEO van <strong>Start it@KBC<\/strong>, die jaarlijks meer dan 150 schaalbare jonge bedrijven begeleidt. Sinds zijn oprichting in 2014 heeft de incubator al meer dan 1.900 start-ups gecoacht.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;<em>We hadden al coaching, een gemeenschap en een Europees ecosysteem, er ontbrak slechts \u00e9\u00e9n ding: zelf investeren in de startfase<\/em>&#8220;, aldus <strong>Lode Uytterschaut<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<h2>Meer dan een miljard euro opgehaald<\/h2>\n<div>&#8220;<em>Wat begon als een kleine initiatief is uitgegroeid tot het grootste start-up ecosysteem in Belgi\u00eb<\/em>&#8220;, herinnert <strong>Johan Thijs<\/strong> zich, CEO van de KBC-groep. Nog een paar cijfers om dit aan te tonen&#8230; Van de 1.923 <strong>start-ups<\/strong> die sinds 2014 zijn begeleid, hebben er 227 al meer dan een miljoen euro opgehaald, terwijl 122 meer dan twee miljoen hebben verzameld. In totaal hebben ze meer dan 1,1 miljard euro opgehaald en meer dan 12.000 banen gecre\u00eberd, wat dit ecosysteem een van de grootste werkgevers in Belgi\u00eb maakt.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>In termen van overlevingsrate tonen deze start-ups ook uitstekende resultaten. Na vijf jaar bestaat meer dan zeven op de tien nog steeds.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Onder de grootste successen van <strong>Start it@KBC<\/strong> bevinden zich bekende namen zoals <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.aikido.dev\/\">Aikido Security<\/a> (softwareontwikkelaar, uitgeroepen tot scale-up van het jaar 2025), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boltenergie.be\/fr\/\">Bolt<\/a> (elektriciteitsleverancier), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.loopearplugs.com\/fr-be\">Loop Earplugs<\/a> (oordopjes), <a href=\"https:\/\/conveo.ai\/\">Conveo<\/a> (AI-gestuurde marktonderzoeken), <a href=\"https:\/\/keyrock.com\/\">Keyrock<\/a> (scale-up gespecialiseerd in crypto), <a href=\"https:\/\/segments.ai\/\">Segments.ai<\/a> (datalogeurannotatie voor autonome voertuigen, drones en robots), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crazygames.com\/\">Crazy Games<\/a> (applicatie en online platform voor het spelen van duizenden games zonder registratie of download) en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.drinkritchie.com\/fr\/\">Ritchie<\/a> (limonades).<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>De bankgroep KBC zet meer dan ooit in op het start-up ecosysteem.
