Dit zal de allereerste bijeenkomst van dit soort op Aziatische bodem zijn. Het is hier geen kwestie van een verbonden evenement zoals op vele andere plaatsen in de wereld, maar een volwaardig festival dat meerdere dagen duurt. De eerste editie zal plaatsvinden in Pattaya van 11 tot 13 december, waarbij dagelijks 50.000 mensen worden verwacht.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Tomorrowland<\/strong> was al een tijdje op zoek naar een geschikte locatie op het Aziatische continent. De keuze voor <strong>Thailand<\/strong> boven verschillende andere mogelijke bestemmingen wordt verklaard door zijn groeiende invloed op de wereldwijde muzieksc\u00e8ne, innovatie en ervaringgericht toerisme, aldus het bedrijf. Een festival van deze omvang zou een significante impact kunnen hebben op de lokale en nationale economie door het stimuleren van toerisme, horeca en creatieve industrie\u00ebn, terwijl het festivalgangers vanuit de hele wereld verwelkomt, hopen de Belgische en Thaise organisatoren.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;<em>De organisatie van <strong>Tomorrowland<\/strong> in <strong>Thailand<\/strong> markeert een belangrijke stap in onze ambitie om het land te positioneren als wereldleider in toerisme en creatieve ervaringen<\/em>&#8220;, onderstreept het nationale toerismebureau van het land, dat enthousiast is om de schoonheid, cultuur en gastvrijheid van het land aan de festivalgangers te tonen.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<figure id=\"attachment_14649\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14649\" style=\"width: 370px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-14649\" src=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.be\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/tomorrowland-thailand-240x300.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"370\" height=\"463\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-14649\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u00a9 Tomorrowland<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;<em>De uitbreiding van Tomorrowland naar een nieuw continent is een belangrijke stap die we met veel respect en enthousiasme aangaan<\/em>&#8220;, vervolgt <a href=\"https:\/\/be.linkedin.com\/in\/bruno-vanwelsenaers-a5ba3a3\">Bruno Vanwelsenaers<\/a>, CEO van <strong>Weareone.world<\/strong>, het bedrijf achter de Tomorrowland-galaxie. Samen met zijn Aziatische partners hoopt hij &#8220;<em>iets belangrijks en van wereldklasse te cre\u00ebren<\/em>&#8220;, en ze beloven een &#8220;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">lange geschiedenis<\/span>&#8221; met dit nieuwe hoofdstuk dat wordt geopend.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Ter plaatse werkt het Belgische team samen met een lokaal team van 40 personen. Het driedaagse evenement zal plaatsvinden in Wisdom Valley, in Pattaya. Deze locatie van 95 hectare zal meerdere spectaculaire podia herbergen, waaronder de iconische Core en Freedom die voor het eerst in Azi\u00eb te zien zullen zijn, evenals nieuwe podia en ervaringen die exclusief voor <strong>Thailand<\/strong> zijn gecre\u00eberd.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Het festival verwacht meer dan 50.000 mensen per dag te verwelkomen gedurende drie dagen. De wereldwijde ticketverkoop begint op 7 maart, met voorinschrijvingen vanaf 8 januari.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\n<figure id=\"attachment_14650\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14650\" style=\"width: 1200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-14650\" src=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.be\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/tomorrowland-thailand-2.avif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"798\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-14650\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u00a9 Tomorrowland<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Ter herinnering, de Tomorrowland-galaxie omvat dus deze vier festivals maar ook <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.be\/fr\/las-vegas-et-shanghai-dernieres-escales-en-date-dans-la-tournee-mondiale-de-tomorrowland\/\">een veelheid aan evenementen over de hele wereld<\/a>, waaronder Core, een tweedaags muziekevenement in Medellin, Colombia, en Terra Solis dat zich gedurende zes maanden vestigt in een glamping-resort in de woestijn, 45 minuten van Dubai. Er zijn ook evenementen in China en Las Vegas. Dit soort internationale activiteiten is uitgegroeid tot de belangrijkste groeimotor van het bedrijf.
