Ambitieus en doordacht, onafhankelijk zowel in de kern (van haar collecties) als in de vorm (van haar bedrijf), beheerst Marie Adam-Leenaerdt haar uitbreiding en investeert ze in haar naam.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Haar bedrijf groeit elk seizoen in een verantwoord tempo dat haar in staat stelt zich te ontwikkelen zonder de controle te verliezen, gesteund door investeerders die bijna of symbolisch tot haar familie behoren.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_15850\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15850\" style=\"width: 1707px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-15850\" src=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.be\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/look-45-mal2510-paris-ss26-ag03290-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1707\" height=\"2560\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-15850\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u00a9 DR<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Drie jaar na haar eerste show in Parijs op haar 26e verjaardag, met al 25 (zeer mooie) verkooppunten in Europa, de Verenigde Staten en Azi\u00eb, heeft Marie zojuist haar e-shop gelanceerd waarvan het logistieke centrum zich in Belgi\u00eb bevindt, gericht op de hele wereld. &#8220;<em>We hebben ook een nieuw agent in Azi\u00eb aangetrokken, omdat deze markt een groot ontwikkelingsgebied vormt. En sinds het afgelopen seizoen hebben we onze verkoopstrategie aangepast: we richten ons veel meer op onafhankelijke boetieks en minder op de grote multimerken. Op deze manier lopen we minder risico als we een boetiek verliezen, omdat de investeringen beter zijn verdeeld<\/em>.&#8221; Deze beslissing is ook gebaseerd op een rationeel inzicht: de kleding die ze cre\u00ebert, aanpasbaar en conceptueel, verdient &#8211; of vereist zelfs &#8211; door de kwaliteit van het ontwerp en de materialen, om in &#8220;werkelijke omstandigheden&#8221; geprobeerd, aangeraakt en ontdekt te worden.<\/p>\n<h2>Family (fashion) business<\/h2>\n<p>Haar rechterhand kent haar als geen ander: het is haar moeder, een toegewijde partner, ook directeur van Sony Universal Paramount Belgi\u00eb. Ze past in de filosofie van Belgische bedrijven die al decennia standhouden en alle stormen doorstaan omdat ze zijn opgebouwd uit hechte teams die elkaar al heel lang kennen &#8211; zoals bij <strong>Dries Van Noten<\/strong>, waar veel werknemers hun hele carri\u00e8re doorbrengen &#8211; <strong>Marie Adam-Leenaerdt<\/strong> vertrouwt op medewerkers &#8220;<em>die zich inzetten voor het belang van het merk, vertrouwen stellen in het project en het verder willen brengen<\/em>&#8220;. Hoewel de jonge vrouw erkent dat de periode voor iedereen moeilijk is in de mode-industrie (&#8220;<em>we moeten voor alles vechten<\/em>&#8220;), benadrukt ze echter de positieve signalen, zoals de toename van haar verkooppunten elk seizoen.<\/p>\n<h2>Op de lanceerbaan, geduldig<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_15851\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-15851\" style=\"width: 1707px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-15851\" src=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.be\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/look-26-mal2510-paris-ss26-ag01910-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1707\" height=\"2560\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-15851\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u00a9 DR<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Wanneer haar wordt gevraagd met welk startkapitaal ze haar merk lanceerde, lacht Marie: &#8220;<em>je moest \u20ac5000 inzetten om een bedrijf op te richten, dat was alles wat ik had. We hebben echt van dag tot dag gewerkt, collectie na collectie, stap voor stap<\/em>.&#8221; Wat betreft ontwikkelingsdoelstellingen erkent ze haar paradoxale ambitie: &#8220;<em>ik wil natuurlijk mijn klantenkring uitbreiden en een referentie worden, maar ik wilde altijd dat mijn product niche blijft en niet volledig mainstream wordt. Het is onmiskenbaar dat de productie van een tas die in duizenden exemplaren zou verkopen, aantrekkelijk lijkt, maar de keerzijde van de medaille, het &#8220;<em>te veel gezien<em>&#8220;, trekt mij helemaal niet aan. Ik zoek naar een evenwicht, het juiste recept om een product te ontwerpen dat zowel zeer aantrekkelijk is, maar toegankelijk voor de juiste doelgroep, die het echt begrijpt<\/em>.&#8221; Terwijl de meeste merken momenteel onder druk bezwijken voor de verleiding om min of meer hetzelfde aan te bieden, cre\u00ebert <strong>Marie Adam-Leenaerdt<\/strong> intu\u00eftief, zonder marktonderzoeken.
