Opgericht door Marie Gu\u00e9rin, voormalig hoofdredacteur van ELLE Belgi\u00eb, presenteert de Matrimoney Academy zich als een platform voor financieel en cultureel onderwijs, gericht op vrouwen met een hoog profiel. Ze opent haar deuren op 24 maart in het Corinthia Brussels met als hoofdgast Ilham Kadri, de eerste vrouw die de leiding had over de groep Solvay en de best betaalde leider van de Bel 20 in 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Geld als object van cultuur, en niet van vulgarisering. Dat is de inzet die de Matrimoney Academy<\/a> formuleert, een nieuw initiatief van financieel onderwijs<\/strong> dat zijn eerste cyclus inluidt op 24 maart in het Corinthia Brussels. Achter het project staat een bekende figuur uit het Belgische medialandschap: Marie Gu\u00e9rin<\/strong>, voormalig hoofdredacteur van het tijdschrift ELLE Belgi\u00eb, die de ambitie heeft om een veeleisende leeromgeving te cre\u00ebren, bewust offline<\/em>, op het kruispunt van economische cultuur, levenskunst en overdracht.<\/p>\n

Ilham Kadri als hoofdact<\/h2>\n

Voor deze lancering heeft de Matrimoney Academy<\/strong> een gast gekozen wiens carri\u00e8re precies de kwesties illustreert die ze wil onderzoeken. Ilham Kadri<\/strong>, opgeleid als chemicus en doctor, was in 2019 de eerste vrouw aan het hoofd van de groep Solvay<\/a>, voordat ze de historische splitsing leidde die Syensqo deed ontstaan<\/a>. In 2025 blijft ze de best betaalde leider van de Bel 20, in een Europese context waar minder dan 10% van de grote beursgenoteerde bedrijven door vrouwen wordt geleid.<\/p>\n

De vraag voor deze eerste avond is helder: wat onthult geld wanneer een vrouw de macht uitoefent op het hoogste niveau? De gesprekken zullen worden gestructureerd en geleid door Salma Haouach<\/strong>, gediplomeerd managementingenieur van Solvay en economisch columnist voor Forbes<\/a>, rond vier pijlers: geld als machtsmiddel, legitimiteit en besluitvorming, economische macht en verantwoordelijkheid, en de overdracht op de lange termijn. Live interacties met het publiek via Wooclap zullen de conversatie aanvullen.<\/p>\n

Een premium format, een educatie in drie cycli<\/h2>\n

De avond zal verder gaan met een walking dinner<\/em> verzorgd door Christophe Hardiquest (Le Petit Bon Bon), begeleid door bubbels. De setting, het format en de gekozen partners vatten zonder twijfel de positionering van de Matrimoney Academy<\/strong> samen: die van een ruimte die net zo goed de ervaring als de vereiste waardeert, en zich bewust afzet tegen wat zij “spektakel-financi\u00ebn” noemen.<\/p>\n

Het platform structureert haar onderwijs in drie jaarlijkse cycli. De eerste, “De Fundamenten”, behandelt persoonlijke financi\u00ebn en economische onafhankelijkheid. De tweede, “De Horizon”, richt zich op diversificatie en patrimoniale strategie. De derde, “De Toppen”, gaat over overdracht, filantropie en impact. Elke avond verwelkomt vijftig deelnemers in een omgeving die, volgens de organisatoren, is ontworpen voor de kwaliteit van zowel de uitwisselingen als de ervaring.<\/p>\n

Van patrimonium naar matrimonium<\/h2>\n

Achter het initiatief schuilt een conceptuele ambitie die aandacht verdient. Het woord “patrimonium” komt van het Latijnse pater<\/em>. De Matrimoney Academy<\/strong> wil haar tegenhanger opbouwen: een matrimonium, gedefinieerd als een erfenis, bedacht, gecre\u00eberd en door vrouwen overgedragen. Niet als symbolische tegenmacht, benadrukt de oprichtster, maar als “autonome architectuur”.<\/p>\n

De toegangsprijs, vastgesteld op 280 euro voor een avond beperkt tot vijftig plaatsen, duidt zonder omhaal op het beoogde publiek en de aard van het aanbod. De dress code<\/em> vat de geest van de locatie samen in een formule die zowel over de cultuur van het huis als haar ambities spreekt: “Schiaparelli zou het geweldig vinden<\/em>.”<\/p>\n
