De expositie &#8216;Visions of inner worlds&#8217; onthult zeldzame werken op papier uit de collectie van de Fransman Daniel Cordier (1920-2020), verzetsstrijder, mecenas en visionair kunsthandelaar. Van de jaren 1930 tot 1960 was zijn creatie een kompas in eenzaamheid: hybride figuren, antropomorfe entiteiten en bewegende organische structuren uiten een mentale wereld waarin wetenschap, metamorfose en innerlijke visies zich vermengen. <figure id=\"attachment_16232\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16232\" style=\"width: 1154px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16232\" src=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.be\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-10-03-2026-a-0849.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1154\" height=\"1144\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-16232\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Leo Orta, bij Christophe Gaillard \u00a9 DR<\/figcaption><\/figure> Ook een primeur is de solotentoonstelling van de Fransman <strong>L\u00e9o Orta<\/strong>, reflecties op toestanden die de grens van mens, dier en landschap raken. In &#8216;\u00catre-Anges&#8217; toont hij tegenstrijdige figuren, vertrouwde maar soms indringende aanwezigheid, die verschijnen op een moment dat de grenzen tussen natuur en cultuur, toevlucht en bedreiging instabiel worden. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.galeriegaillard.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>www.galeriegaillard.com<\/em><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Ham S\u0101ya Kouh H\u0101\u2009\u2013 Aan de schaduwzijde van de berg bij Eric Mouchet<\/h2>\n<p> De <strong>galerie Eric Mouchet<\/strong> brengt voor het eerst in Europa twaalf <strong>hedendaagse Hazara-kunstenaars<\/strong> samen uit Afghanistan, Iran en Pakistan, die werken tegen de achtergrond van eeuwenoude mythen, familielegendes en biografische verhalen. De heuvels van Kabul en Quetta, de reli\u00ebfs van de Haz\u0101radjat en de vallei van B\u0101miy\u0101n, waar ooit twee gigantische stenen boeddha&#8217;s uit de 6e eeuw stonden die in 2001 door de Taliban werden opgeblazen, vormen de achtergrond voor hun creaties. Politiek en spiritueel toevluchtsoord tegen geweld, de berg wordt door de tentoonstelling het canvas van de aspiraties van de Hazara-gemeenschap. Deze werken uit Melbourne, Kabul, Quetta, Londen of Teheran tekenen identitaire en artistieke bergruggen met Feroza Hakeem en de onderdompeling in een natuur als hoeder van herinneringen, de aansluting bij <strong>Kubra Khademi&#8217;s<\/strong> vaandel, de gedenkwaardige daad van <strong>Latifa Zafar Attaii<\/strong> of de orale en familiale geschiedenis van <strong>Parwana Haydar<\/strong>. De kunstenaars schetsen deze horizon als een luchtspiegeling, dat wat in het Perzisch &#8216;de berg achter de bergen&#8217; wordt genoemd. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ericmouchet.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>www.ericmouchet.com<\/em><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Thomas Houseago bij Xavier Hufkens<\/h2>\n<p> <figure id=\"attachment_16229\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16229\" style=\"width: 1969px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16229\" src=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.be\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/prev-02-xh1-2026-03-housago-0015-066.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1969\" height=\"1476\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-16229\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Thomas Houseago, bij Hufkens \u00a9 DR<\/figcaption><\/figure> <strong>Thomas Houseago<\/strong>, een Engelse kunstenaar geboren in Leeds en woonachtig in Californi\u00eb, nodigt ons uit voor deze <strong>tentoonstelling<\/strong> getiteld <em>Journey<\/em>, een reis van materie en geest. Na zijn tentoonstelling in 2020 bij de Koninklijke Musea is er deze keer een presentatie waar sculpturen domineren, monumentaal of speels. De hele show opent met &#8216;Giant Striding Figure&#8217; (<em>Van Gogh on the Road to Arles<\/em>), een imposante figuur van sequoia, een boom die symbool staat voor kracht, levensduur (de oudste is meer dan 3.200 jaar oud), wijsheid en veerkracht.
