Dit huis <b>was meer dan een eeuw de thuis van het Belgisch Pontificaal College<\/b>, waar Karol Wojty\u0142a, de toekomstige paus Johannes Paulus II, woonde en studeerde.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Met ongeveer 3.000 m\u00b2 aan binnenruimte, een priv\u00e9tuin van 614 m\u00b2 en een ontwijd 17e-eeuwse kerk ge\u00efntegreerd in het hoofdgebouw, onderscheidt het paleis dat vanaf vandaag door Lionard Luxury Real Estate te koop wordt aangeboden zich als een eigendom van uitzonderlijke historische, artistieke en architectonische waarde, en behoort het tot de belangrijkste historische paleizen in het centrum van Rome. Het wordt <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lionard.com\/historical-building-with-church-and-private-garden-for-sale-in-rome.html\"><strong>verkocht<\/strong> <b>voor 30 miljoen euro<\/b><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"western\">Unieke locatie<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">De geschiedenis van het gebouw gaat terug tot het begin van de 17e eeuw, toen de Spaanse Karmelieten verschillende gebouwen langs de huidige <b>Via del Quirinale<\/b> verwierven om er een klooster te vestigen. De Spaanse religieuze gemeenschap verbleef er tot de Franse bezetting van Rome in 1809, toen ze gedwongen werden het klooster te verlaten. Vervolgens kwam het eigendom in handen van de Eeuwige aanbidders van het Heilig Sacrament, en dat tot 1839.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_16255\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16255\" style=\"width: 2560px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-16255\" src=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.be\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/08-historic-palace-for-sale-in-rome-courtesy-of-lionard-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1708\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-16255\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Lionard Luxury Real Estate<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">In 1846 werd het paleis op initiatief van de Belgische bisschoppen aangekocht. Het werd toen volledig gerenoveerd en omgebouwd tot de zetel van het Belgisch Pontificaal College (Collegio Ecclesiastico Belga), dat er tot 1972 zou blijven. Tussen 1946 en 1948 woonde en studeerde Karol Wojty\u0142a, de toekomstige paus Johannes Paulus II, er.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4 class=\"western\">Uitgelezen volumes voor een luxe hotel<\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">Het paleis is vandaag georganiseerd over vijf verdiepingen, aangevuld met een zolderniveau en een kelder. Het biedt 40 kamers, 15 badkamers en talrijke ruimtes oorspronkelijk bedoeld voor het collegiaal leven en representaties. Vanuit het centrale schip opent de ruimte zich naar een centraal gelegen ruimte in de vorm van een Grieks kruis, gevormd door een achthoek ingeschreven in een vierkant.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\">De buitenruimtes van het paleis zijn een zeldzaam privilege in het hart van Rome.
