Het event is een ontmoetingsplaats voor toonaangevende Belgische ondernemers, investeerders en talenten binnen het ecosysteem.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghentslushd.be\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ghent Slush\u2019D<\/a> verenigt invloedrijke personen uit het lokale startup-landschap, zoals Jurgen Ingels (Smartfin &amp; Clear2Pay), Lorenz Bogaert (Netlog &amp; Starapps) en Catalina Daniels (ERA &amp; Birdhouse), maar trekt ook internationale zwaargewichten aan, waaronder Saskia van den Ende (Antler), en Jamie Crumie (Too Good To Go). Gorintin, tevens non-executive co-founder van Mistral AI en voormalig datawetenschapper bij Facebook, Instagram en Twitter, is gepassioneerd over het transformeren van de gezondheidszorg met AI. Hij heeft meerdere masterdiploma\u2019s in wiskunde, informatica, AI en Financial Engineering van Ponts, ENS en UC Berkeley. Zijn optreden komt op het moment dat Belfius, de Belgische staatsbank, fors investeert in Alan en een leidende rol speelt in de laatste kapitaalronde van \u20ac173 miljoen van het bedrijf om concurrenten zoals AG Insurance, AXA en DKV uit te dagen.<\/p>\n<p>Verder bundelen drie van de grootste tech merken van Belgi\u00eb hun krachten met <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ghentslushd.be\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Slush\u2019D<\/a> om de meest uitgebreide startup pitch-competitie van het land te lanceren. De nextGEM competitie bestaat uit een software en AI segment in samenwerking met investeerder Pitchdrive, een hardware en health segment samen met imec.istart en imec.xpand, en een laatste segment voor studenten en PhD\u2019s, in samenwerking met Start.it @KBC.
