{"id":8336,"date":"2025-03-28T11:20:14","date_gmt":"2025-03-28T10:20:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.forbes.be\/nl\/?p=8336"},"modified":"2025-04-09T15:36:27","modified_gmt":"2025-04-09T13:36:27","slug":"skechers-kiest-voor-luik-bierset-voor-nieuwe-europese-distributiecentrum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.forbes.be\/nl\/skechers-kiest-voor-luik-bierset-voor-nieuwe-europese-distributiecentrum\/","title":{"rendered":"Skechers kiest voor Luik-Bierset als locatie voor zijn toekomstige Europese distributiecentrum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400; text-align: left;\"><strong>De Belgische vastgoedgroepen Weerts en Montea ontwikkelen voor Skechers een magazijn van meer dan 215.000 m\u00b2 nabij de luchthaven van Luik.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Het bekende <strong>Amerikaanse merk voor schoenen en kleding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skechers.be\/fr?utm_source=google&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_campaign=brand&amp;gclsrc=aw.ds&amp;gad_source=1&amp;gbraid=0AAAAAosrFaCVeOufok19UwGzH1zsnMNTo&amp;gclid=EAIaIQobChMIk6u48NeqjAMVVZJQBh3-mzVwEAAYASAAEgKGV_D_BwE\">Skechers<\/a><\/strong>, dat sterk in de lift zit, heeft besloten om de luchthaven van Luik en het strategische wegennetwerk te kiezen om zijn distributieactiviteiten in Europa te consolideren.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De maatschappij die het project leidt, een Belgische joint venture tussen <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/montea.com\/fr\/\">Montea<\/a><\/strong> en <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weerts-group.com\/en\"><strong>Weerts<\/strong><\/a>, heeft een AAA-huurcontract voor <strong>20 jaar<\/strong> afgesloten met de toekomstige vooraanstaande huurder. Om over de strategisch noodzakelijke grond te beschikken, die uiteindelijk tot 370.000 m\u00b2 aan magazijnen kan huisvesten, is bovendien een erfpachtovereenkomst voor 50 jaar met de luchthaven van Luik onderhandeld, met de mogelijkheid van een verlenging van nog eens 49 jaar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Montea zal een aandeel van 40% nemen in het projectbedrijf voor een maximaal investering van ongeveer <strong>140 miljoen euro<\/strong>. De in Luik gevestigde groep Weerts blijft eigenaar van de resterende 60% en wordt verantwoordelijk voor de algehele ontwikkeling. Deze zal verdeeld worden over vijf units en maakt het mogelijk om tegen 2027 een hightech logistiek centrum te realiseren (BREEAM Excellent certificering) op een ideale locatie. De structurele werkzaamheden van de eerste fase zijn al begonnen.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9482\" src=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.be\/fr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/image-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1381\" height=\"829\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">De verticale bouw, parkeergelegenheid op meerdere niveaus en het laadplatform zullen Skechers verzekeren van een optimaal en geautomatiseerd gebruik van de beschikbare ruimte.
